Docker is a software containerization technology in which applications and their dependencies (executables, libraries, code and configuration files) can work without the need for a hypervisor – as in the case of virtualization – or their own operating systems ( because they use the environment system they are running on). Microservices architecture is a modular approach that allows the fragmentation of a solution into several independent components (services) – elements that work efficiently, both together and separately.
Each service is developed separately, the final solution being basically a sum of the allocated microservices. In order for the solution to provide a logical and bottleneck-free environment, these independent services are hosted and integrated on docker-type systems where the goals of mobility, connectivity, availability and security are maintained at a level at least equal to classic virtualization architectures.
